About
Chris has devoted her life to the deep listening that underpins ‘what matters most’ in people’s lives. She is the founder of Q4 Consulting, Inc., a Chicago-based consulting firm, and author of two books: The Leadership Pause: Sharpen Your Attention, Deepen Your Presence and Navigate the Future and The Leadership Pause Book of Practices, a collection of practical tools for leaders who need to perform under pressure, make aligned decisions, and lead with presence to grow and thrive. Grounded in the belief that to ‘pause is the portal to all possibilities,’ she’s known for creating trust with those who value her honesty, thoughtful questions and deep listening, and commitment to their success.
A leadership and master somatic coach, Chris draws on her background as a trauma psychologist, mindfulness educator, and third-degree aikido black belt. She integrates neuroscience, mindful awareness, and embodied practice to train leaders in the power skills that matter most: attention, 360° awareness, and intentional action.
Her sweet spot lives at the intersection of supporting professional women and cultivating business leaders and their teams to become more mindful, conscious, and on purpose. As a catalyst, she questions, listens, and challenges clients to spark their awareness, grow their capacity, and build lasting resilience.
Chris is a passionate advocate for the power of business to create futures where all thrive. She has served on the leadership of the Chicago Chapter of Conscious Capitalism for over a dozen years and has been active with Ellevate Chicago, an organization committed to developing professional women. When she is not working, Chris is likely gardening, reading, hiking, making art, or at the aikido dojo where she both practices and teaches.
