What You Need To Know
Feeling called to join the xchange community? We’ve addressed some of the
most pressing queries to streamline your facilitation training journey with us.
What's the route to achieving xchange Guide Certification?
For new members joining as of March 15, 2023 the path to becoming a Certified xchange Guide is outlined below. As a Level 2 or 3 Member, your membership fee includes all associated fees for certification and there is no additional charge.
- Attend the Online xchange Experience (OXE) twice, at least once as a member of the Leadership Team
- Attend the Awakening Conscious Leadership Experience (ACLE) training
- Attend OXE Level 2 OR four (4) Online Advanced Training Sessions
- Submit (8) #DEBRIEF posts in our members only Facebook group, following the approved format
- Submit your application for approval
NOTE: Members who joined before March 15th 2023 have until December 31, 2023 to apply for xchange Guide Certification following the certification requirements in effect at the time of joining membership.
After your application is approved, pay the applicable one-time $500 certification fee (waived for Level 2 and 3 Members). Your certification is valid for 12 months. To maintain your certification, follow the renewal process:
- Remain a member of the xchange community in good standing
- Attend one online or in-person xchange training AND submit 2 additional #DEBRIEF posts in our Facebook group during the 12-month period
- Submit the required renewal form, along with a $250 renewal fee (waived for Level 2 and 3 Members)
*xchange reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to the certification requirements and process.
What topics are taught in the Advanced Online Trainings?
Available to Level 2 and 3 members, Advanced Training sessions are half day online events, hosted by the XCHANGE Team and focused on one of three topic areas: Designing & Facilitating, Presencing and Business Development.

Is the xchange Approach good for one-to-one coaching?
Absolutely! At the heart of the xchange Approach is the art of question design – a potent skill to refine and thereby enhance outcomes for your clients. Plus, you’ll master the art of curating intimate group settings and designing conversations geared for exponential impacts, paving the way from one-to-one to group coaching dynamics.
Is individual coaching offered as part of membership?
Level 1 Members can dive into numerous recorded facilitation coaching sessions within the xchange Learning Lab.
Level 2 Members are privy to live Design Studio Group Coaching with the xchange Team, coupled with recorded sessions in the Learning Lab. Many believe this sole benefit justifies the membership cost.
Level 3 Members, in addition to Level 2 privileges, have the unique opportunity to participate in live Design Studio Group Coaching with Jon Berghoff, the visionary behind xchange.
Moreover, members will discover avenues for mutual support during Practice Sessions, Advanced Online Trainings, Business Accelerator, and within our exclusive FB group.
Is it possible to upgrade my membership?
Absolutely. You can elevate your xchange membership tier at any time during your annual subscription. However, a static pricing structure isn’t guaranteed, and Action Taker discounts hold relevance solely during OXE.
Am I allowed to cancel at any point?
Membership is a testament to an annual commitment, transitioning into a monthly commitment after the inaugural 12 months. Early termination will incur a 50% fee. For an in-depth understanding, we recommend referring to our detailed cancellation policy.
Are scholarships a part of your offerings?
